 Oh dear... another question
I've been looking at airport shuttles and taxies etc. Sad to say that last time it seems that both Gwenn and my Aunt got well, ripped off! by the companies that they used. I don't want to get my rental car at the airport... looks scary to drive there!
So I am wondering if any of you local girls know of a good company! Please let me know if you do! !

Does the Hotel have a shuttle service? At the airport the have prety good signage to take you out then it's just 188th to the freeway and head south until you see your hotel. It's easily seen from the freeway. I was ready to vote for dinner there. I love places I can see. I left some Mt Vernon info on MP for you.

for the info. Girls I am a real chicken when it comes to certain kinds of driving. That airport and all the construction looked scary to me! The hotel doesn't have a shuttle service. The one in Federal Way last year did. I did find one company that ran a shuttle service in a big van and they were about half the cost of a cab... but you were stuck with some rather long waits... or at least they sounded long after two hours in the airport at this end, five hour flight... who knows how long getting luggage... then who wants to wait? So I think I will just take the cab. Next time I think I will look for a hotel that has a shuttle. again!

Mizlilly...I think that taking a cab from the airport all the way to Lakewood would be prohibitive...Some of the rental car places at the airport actually have offsite lots and will shuttle you to them, thus getting you out of the airport construction.
Do you have flight arrival info yet...email me and will see if something can be arranged to get you picked up even.

Mizlilly, in my opinion, getting out of the airport is easier than getting in...Just follow the signs to I-5 and stay towards the outside lane..I think the very outside lane mergers left not long before you cut off... to head towards Portland...I was amazed though how easy it really was getting in & out of there..It looked alot harder...Portland is very easy, so it makes Seattle look really hard...But you'll be fine...After you get on I-5 just keep going south until you see the LaQuinta Motel at Lakewood...
