Create yards and yards of exquisite 3/8" or 5/8" wide lace edgings directly in your hoop!
YES, this is my second made from scratch linen guest towel. I Love, Love It! |
Create yards and yards of exquisite lace edgings directly in your hoop. You DO NOT need to know how to rehoop or align anything at all.
As with any other "In-The-Hoop" project, all you need to do is follow the instructions and you will be creating seamless lengths of lace in your regular hoops very easily and very efficiently without any assembly hassles.
A lace edging that is an exact match in color to our fabrics is again possible and incredibly easy. The Lace Edging 13 designs
can be stitched with regular 40 weight embroidery thread or with 40 weight cotton embroidery thread or with 60 weight cotton look polyester thread. Using different
weights and types of thread will create different interesting textures for your lace. You can find all of those different threads here: CLICK HERE!
This collection of designs stitches amazingly fast. The 4" long design for the narrower edging takes about 3 to 4 minutes to stitch. This means that a yard of this lace would take about 45 minutes to stitch for under $3.00us a yard. (The quote is based on the prices offered on this website for the
Wet N Gone by Floriani and the Floriani poly thread.)
A very detailed instruction file with photos at every step is included with the designs.
The monogram in the center of the frame is from the collection: Romantic Ivy |
Never be afraid to mix and match different widths of edgings for a more dramatic effect. |
Close-up of the edgings. These designs have a very low stitch count and are amazingly soft and supple. |
Because of their low stitch count, these designs can be stitched on any fabric very easily. |
